Blood Drive
At PCHS and in our FBLA Chapter, one of the projects that we encourage every student and teacher to take part in, is the Blood Drive.
The Blood Drive is sponsored by Blood Assurance. Blood Assurance has been serving the people of Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama since 1972. Twice a year they send two bloodmobiles to the school for a day and draw blood from the students eligible to give. This project is something that everyone can participate in, and is one that we will keep doing for a long time. The students here at PCHS are very involved in the Blood Drive, and take every opportunity to give that they can.
However, you dont have to be a student to give blood. Anyone who is healthy and eligible can visit their local blood bank to donate blood. Your participation in these projects helps everyone in some way or another. So we encourage you to take that leap of faith and give a little of your blood to a good cause.
