The FBLA Chapter here at Polk County High school is all about going green. We are trying every way possible to make our school greener, and to help protect the environment. Whether its replacing current light bulbs with more energy efficient ones or picking up litter on the side of the road, our FBLA chapter is doing everything we can to promote a greener way of living. We encourage everyone to do their part in making the world a healthier place to live. Every year we hold a Go Green assembly encouraging the students in our school to do their part in helping us make the school greener.
This project is one of our ongoing projects that we cant do alone, even if youre not a student. You dont have to do anything major like buy a smart car, but even the smallest step like: turning out the light when you leave the room, or even stop throwing trash out on the highway. Every little bit helps!
Pictured above are examples of positive impacts on our world.
